How my website design process works

Websites are born through collaboration. This is how.

Inception

At the start of the project, you and I will have a website inception session, where we will dive deep into the mission and the goals of your business, and establish a clear vision for the brand/website that conveys your unique offering(s).

Incubation

After our website inception session, I will create a strategic map for the visitor journey on your website.

You will submit copy for all website pages you wish to have me design.

You will compile an inspiration library to inform my design choices.

I will create a vision board to convey the creative direction for your brand/website.

Once we are on the same page regarding all brand/website elements, I will initiate the design process.

Refinement

I will edit your copy for clarity and precision and design all brand elements and website pages.

You and I will refine the design and the copy to achieve a cohesive brand identity in as many design refinement sessions as we need.

Emergence

Once you are completely satisfied with your new brand identity and website look, I will optimize the website for search engines, and then connect it to your domain. This will be the moment to share your live, fresh look with the world!

In the week following the website launch, you and I will have up to 2 website hand-off sessions. In addition, I will send you website maintenance videos and a brand package with all digital assets I have created or used on your website.

Growth

I will remain available for ongoing maintenance and future website changes and/or expansion at an additional cost.
